Services

Cardiology Consultation

Cardiology Consultation & Evaluation

Consultation with one of our cardiologists as well as an ongoing evaluation and management of cardiovascular problems.

Myocardial Perfusion Study

Myocardial Perfusion Study

Myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) is a non-invasive imaging test that shows how well blood flows through (perfuses) your heart muscle. It can show areas of the heart muscle that aren't getting enough blood flow. This test is often called a nuclear stress test.

Sudoscan

Sudoscan

Sudoscan is an alternative means of evaluating sudomotor function. A low voltage potential of varying current is applied to electrodes on which the hands and feet are placed. Chloride from sweat glands is extracted producing a current (electrochemical skin conductance - ESC).

Holter Monitor

Holter Monitor

A Holter monitor is a battery-operated portable device that measures and tape records your heart's activity (ECG) continuously for 24 to 48 hours or longer depending on the type of monitoring used.

Echocardiogram

Echocardiogram

A test of the action of the heart using ultrasound waves to produce a visual display, used for the diagnosis or monitoring of heart disease.

Abdominal Ultrasound

Abdominal Ultrasound

Abdominal ultrasound is a type of imaging test. It is used to look at organs in the abdomen, including the liver, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas, and kidneys. The blood vessels that lead to some of these organs, such as the inferior vena cava and aorta, can also be examined with ultrasound.

Arterial Doppler

Arterial Doppler (Lower Extremities)

The Arterial Doppler ultrasound uses sound waves to produce images of the blood flow from your heart to the lower extremities.

ABI/PVR

ABI

ABI, also called Ankle-Brachial Index test, is a test which compares the blood pressure in your ankles to the blood pressures in your arms. It is a safe and painless test that helps your physician determine if your legs are getting the proper amount of blood supply.

ABI

PVR Doppler, also called Pulsed Volume Recording Doppler, is a test which compares the blood pressure in your legs to the blood pressure in your arms. It is a safe and painless test that helps your physician determine if your legs are getting the proper amount of blood supply. If you have been experiencing leg cramping when you walk, the PVR can be performed on a treadmill to test how much blood flows to your legs during exercise. Your physician will order the test that best suits you.

Carotid Doppler

Carotid Doppler

A carotid Doppler is an imaging test that uses ultrasound to examine the carotid arteries located in the neck. This test can show narrowing or possible blockages due to plaque build-up in the arteries due to coronary artery disease.

Nuclear Stress Test

Nuclear Stress Test (MPI)

Myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) is a non-invasive imaging test that shows how well blood flows through (perfuses) your heart muscle. It can show areas of the heart muscle that aren't getting enough blood flow. This test is often called a nuclear stress test.

Exercise Test

Exercise Test

The exercise stress test - also called a stress test, exercise electrocardiogram, treadmill test, graded exercise test, or stress ECG -- is used to provide information about how the heart responds to exertion.
